New Building

A New Chapter for San Marco

A building for worship, fellowship, and community life

South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church is entering an exciting season of growth with the addition of a new 6,700-square-foot building along Hendricks Avenue. More than just a campus expansion, this project is about deepening our presence in the San Marco community and creating space for connection, conversation, and flourishing.

The new facility includes:

  • A 3,500-square-foot event space available for use by the congregation, local businesses, and neighbors.
  • Dedicated space for children and youth ministries, meetings, and fellowship.
  • A welcoming courtyard designed as an open gathering place for concerts, markets, and community events.
  • A kitchen, offices, and flexible rooms to serve both church and community needs.

From the beginning

Our vision has been to design a building that not only serves our congregation but also strengthens our ties with San Marco.

With room to grow—including the future addition of a second story—we see this as a space where partnerships with nonprofits, local organizations, and neighbors can thrive.

As Pastor Adam Anderson has shared, “This building gives us the opportunity to be open to the community. It’s a blank canvas.”

This is more than construction. It is a sign of new life for our church and for our neighborhood—a story of resurrection, renewal, and shared hope for what lies ahead.
